If you’ve already connected your AirPods with your iPhone which is signed in the same iCloud and has the same Apple ID, connecting to your Mac is quick and easy.

Open the lid of your charging case with your AirPods inside.
Press and hold the setup button found at the back of your charging case until the status light flashes white.
For AirPods Max, press and hold the noise control button.
On your Mac, click on the Apple menu and click on System Preferences.
Click on Bluetooth and select AirPods in the list.
You may also set up Siri by clicking Enable. You may also improve Siri and dictation by clicking on either Share Audio Recordings which allows Apple to store the audio of your Siri interactions, or Not Now if you don’t want to share your audio recordings.

If your Airpods don’t appear in the devices list, follow these steps so successfully pair your AirPods to your Mac.
Click on the Apple menu and choose System Preferences.
Click on Bluetooth and make sure your Bluetooth both in your AirPods and Mac are on.
Put both AirPods in the charging case, close the lid for 15 seconds and open the lid of your charging case.
Press and hold the setup button which can be found at the back of the case until the status light flashes white. This will take about 10 seconds.
Your AirPods should now show in the Devices list. When it does, click on Connect.

Check the Drift Correction box next to your 2nd pair of AirPods.
Click on the Apple menu and click on System Preferences.
Choose Sound and click on Multi-Output Device.
